Step 4 - Configure discord
Once connected you need to set discord BOT NAME, DESCRIPTION etc.
Discord has 4 configuration options :
Channel Name: Choose from a dropdown menu listing all the server's channel names. Pick the channel where all support tickets will be created.
Whitelisted Roles: These are roles granted special privileges or permissions within a server. Only these roles can view all tickets, ensuring confidentiality and privacy. Carefully select the roles that should have this access. This controlled approach helps maintain data security and keeps sensitive information within the ticketing system accessible only to designated roles.
Bot Name: Bots are automated user accounts performing various tasks and interacting with users. Pick a bot name reflecting its purpose and is memorable, aligning with your Discord server's theme. You can preview the bot name on the right-hand side of the screen.
Message Preview: Whenever a new ticket is created, the bot displays this text to provide the user with crucial information and instructions. It acknowledges the ticket creation and reassures the user their issue is being addressed. This can be previewed in real-time on the right-hand side of the discord setup page.
Save and Update: After filling out this form, click on the 'Save' button. All the parameters will be saved, and changes will be reflected on Discord.
